Date Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb dates
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1-1/12 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions
 

  • Put soda in water, pour over chopped dates, while mixing other ingredients. Lastly add dates. Bake at 350° F in 9 x 13 pan.
