Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 stick oleo (or can use butter)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup Hershey's cocoa
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • tsp vanilla

Frosting

  • 1 stick oleo (or can use butter)
  • 1/4 cup Hershey's cocoa
  • 6 tbsp buttermilk (or whole milk)
  • 1 box powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Mix sugar and flour in mixing bowl. In pan combine butter, oil, cocoa and water and bring to a boil. Pour over flour mixture. Add buttermilk, baking soda, eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Bake in greased and floured jellyroll pan. Bake for 25 minutes at 350° F.

Frosting

  • Combine oleo, cocoa, buttermilk and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add powdered sugar, sifted. Mix well, pour over cake while hot.
