The Ganey's Holiday Egg Nog
Best enjoyed during the holidays, but suitable for all good times!
Ingredients
- Dozen eggs
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 quart bourbon suggest Maker's Mark
- 1/2 pint rum suggest Myers's or Bacardi
- 1 quart milk
- 1 quart half and half
- ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Separate whites from yolks, save both. Cream yolks with sugar, then SLOWLY add alcohol, add milk, then half and half. In a separate bowl; beat egg whites until stiff, mix with other ingredients. Top with nutmeg, put in a favorite container, keep very cold, mix once every day, and drink as often as the mood strikes you.
